Seattle Home Show Ends 2/26!
This is the last weekend for the Seattle Home Show! We have had a lot of fun talking with people about their upcoming projects, answering questions, educating potential clients about the costs and benefits of going Solar and finding out what is really important when making the decision to invest in a solar system.
The main question on everyone’s mind is a simple one: the current political climate and how it is affecting the current incentives for solar. The answer is not as simple. All we really know is this – the laws that are in place on the federal level (the 30% tax credit) will continue to stay that way. We don’t anticipate that changing between now and when they run out in 2019. Our state incentive, the production payment program, is up for debate right now in the House and hopefully will move to the Senate for a vote. They should have a decision when the current legislative session is over in April. But again, what is in place will continue through the end of the program in 2020.
If you would like to help support HB 1048, you can click here to leave a comment for the House and urge them to move the bill to the Senate.
For now, we are going to continue to do what we do best; offer the highest quality solar systems with the best customer service around. Come talk to us and find out for yourself. The show goes through Sunday at 6pm, we hope to see you!
WSNE launches Electrical Division!
Over the years we’ve seen an increased need for quality electrical work at a reasonable price – especially for small jobs. You shouldn’t have to wait for a month to get a new switch installed or a circuit added for your new appliance. We’ve always done small job for our friends and clients, so we decided to offer electrical work (without solar) to everyone else. In January West Seattle Electric was born! Our installers are electricians, because that is the rule here in WA, so anything electrical we can work on. Please visit our website www.WestSeattleElectric.com for more information!
February Special: 15% off Generator and Generator Accessory installation! Call Ryan at 206-573-4205 for details or to set up an appointment today!
It’s Home Show Time!
Home show season is upon us and West Seattle Natural Energy will be at the next four big ones: Seattle Home Show, NW Garden Show, Everett Home Show and the Peninsula Home & Garden Expo. Please see our calendar for dates and times. If you’re looking for a solar seminar, Keith and Amy will be presenting this year: SHS Feb 18 @ 11am and Feb 19 @ 4:30pm, Everett Mar 13 @ 1:30pm and Peninsula Mar 18 @ 11am. They will have handouts and the talk will include information about the costs and benefits of solar in our state.
WSNE is Hiring!
West Seattle Natural Energy is growing! In order to do this we are looking to add to our sales staff. If you have experience in outside sales, a desire to work in a cutting edge industry and would like to work with a small, family owned business with great growth and earning potential please give us a call!
This job does require that you be able to get on the roof to take measurements and solar eye readings. We will provide the ladder (a Little Giant that folds), but your vehicle will need to be able to hold it. Compensation is salary + commission, training is included. We provide the leads and set the appointments, you do the follow-up. Our service area is most of Western Washington, so there is a fair amount of driving. We ask that you work 5 days a week, Tuesday – Saturday to allow for Saturday appointment requests.
Please contact Amy Beaudoin for more information or to set up an interview: 206-261-6654 or amy@westseattlenaturalenergy.com.
